What my experience tells me:

Lake Fenton is an 890 acre all sports lake located 1 hour north of Downtown Detroit, and 45 minutes north of University of Michigan - Ann Arbor.
The home is priced well below $400 a square foot which is a commonly quoted figure by local builders when discussing lake front new construction with far less premium materials.
Why is this a great buy:
All of the above, quality of build, irreplaceable location, value per dollar are what buying real estate is all about, this home combines place and space.
First the lot is great and the home is ready. A similar lot in comparable location is more than likely going to be a long wait, constructing a home this large will take two, probably three summers site improvements and permitting
Secondly, the current aesthetics will not appeal to everyone, but to remodel will take far less time and cost than starting from scratch, spending $250,000.00 on remodel will still have investment under $400.00 a square foot.
